Bringing Christ-Centered solutions to the women and children of Appalachia impacted by poverty, abuse, and incarceration.
The vision is simple: Freedom. Flourish. Fly. We want every woman and child in Appalachia to have the opportunity to find freedom from poverty, abuse and incarceration, flourish in their homes, schools, work and community, and fly toward the dreams God has placed in their hearts.
We are searching for new property in East Tennessee which will better facilitate all of the feeding program, women’s rehabilitation, and transitional housing needs.
The overall vision is to build an easily accessible resource center with room for future program expansion.
We believe God has called us to meet the needs in Appalachia for re-entry programing, transitional housing, feeding programs, and a Church. Our mission is to build a resource center that will serve as a refuge and sanctuary in the mountains. A safe place for women to come after they are released from jail. A place where women won’t have to trade favors to meet their basic needs. A place where they can work on life skills they desperately need to start life over with their families and be contributing citizens in their communities. A place where children and youth can gain leadership skills to support their physical, mental, and spiritual development.
